Martial Arts Clip Art

Today I'm bringing you some martial arts clip art, for all you atheletes and practicioners of karate, taekwondo, judo, and so on. I only practiced a martial art (karate) when I was 10 years old, so I don't have much experience with it. But I do have a tremendous amount of respect for people constantly focusing on and improving their art and their skill. I did a "wedding ceremonial gift" cake based on a picture in Wilton Handbook 2010. The cake & the decorations are in white( in the handbook ) but I was requested to make the gumpaste flowers in soft pastel colors. This is the result. It wasn't my best work...felt that I could do more to improve the look.Any opinion?

Teacher Clipart

I am a former school teacher, so today's theme (teacher clipart) is very close to my heart! I'm getting all nostalgic looking at these cute images. I used to be a first grade and second grade teacher at an elementary school, and everyday I used the blackboard, occasionally kids gave me presents and snacks (though usually not apples), and I read books to the kids as part of our literacy curriculum. So these teacher and classroom images are quite accurate!

MY FIRST CAKE...

April 2007

My affair with cake decorating started about 2 years back. I attended a bread making workshop conducted by Berita Publishing in January 2007.Chef Anuar demonstrated cake decorating using fresh cream. "Hey...I can do that!", my heart said.And I've never decorate a cake before...Ha,Ha..what was I thinking?!
Later, BAGUS outlet Kajang conducted a fondant workshop in April 2007. I went & voila! My first decorating effort:

English Roses

This my favorite....my masterpiece. I did it for Shafriza's wedding. The red tones roses are to fulfill her request for English Roses theme. Those flowers are edible as I made everything myself. I bet kids love eating these sweet treats. Mine does!

Think Pink !

A request for wedding cupcake samples by Anida for December wedding. "Pink Theme"....here are what I came up with...pink tones roses, pink parcel cakes, pink daisy, small pink & white flowers. All are fondant covered cupcakes with sugar flowers & roses I made myself.


Good news...they like them & I am 'hired'  for the job !!! Yey!
