    Willy Wonka will surely love this cake...Chocolate cake covered with Chocolate fondant and decorated with white chocolate & chocolate tones roses. Even the leaves are made from chocolate fondant!



    Since the wedding is in Sungai Petani, Kedah, I brought the unassembled cakes to my parents' house in Alor Setar. My mum sort of freaked out when she saw two extremely dark chocolate square 'blobs' in her kitchen...."Gelapnya..." her exact remark was.However, her expression changes when she saw the completed cake. That look on her face is what I will treasure...forever!
    Here is the bride & groom in Chocolate & Gold color wedding attire and my mum finally understood my creations.

    This two tier cake went from KL to North of Peninsular Malaysia...Rantau Panjang to be exact. Wow...the distance it travelled...luckily it survived the journey and the fact that the top cake is a dummy also helps.




    It was made for my brother-in-law's sister-in-law's wedding...Haa..confusing?! My brother-in-law's wife's younger sister's wedding....Haa?! Ahh...forget it. It doesn't matter...what matter is it's my creation and I enjoyed the decoration process.

    Kids Cowboy Boots do have a personality development value. Many children pass through the information processing stages pretty quickly as a part of their development process in growing up as a culturally adherent adult. A typical western infant or kid is usually fascinated by the 10-gallon hat, a pipe and a hand tooled cowboy boots. They perceive that the Western look is lot related to this cowboy figure!     This hysterical laughter got exaggerated when the kid saw a woman wearing those boots!

    Per cognitive development theory, when a child is introduced to a product and they like using it, they tend to love the typical behavioral trends associated with it. Cowboy shoes are typically associated with hard work and of course a bit of western heroism.     Hey...I am talking about edible image here. I have known about edible image for quite sometime but never had the chance to try it until my friend Anida requested it for her daughter's birthday.
    Have a look...the main cake, her favorite actor...you know him for sure especially if you have a teenage daughter and the cupcakes, the birthday girl.




    The cake and cupcakes are Chocolate Oreo Cake....a new one for me, requested by the birthday girl.     When Mazura asked for an Ocean theme cake, with edible sea creatures...images of the cake flashes through my mind. I kind of already thinking how to go about making the cake while talking to her on the phone....got really excited to start this project. This is something I haven't attempted before but my heart tells me I can do it. Got some ideas from the net too. Here it is...everything is edible except the trees.Every details are handcrafted from fondant. The cake is covered with butter cream & the sand are from crushed digestive biscuits. They love it! I love it! What about you?!

    Tight Western JeansIt seems to me that the term western and the term jeans go very well together. This could be because we know that it is very common knowledge that jeans is a working type of clothing, or rather, jeans started off as a clothing used for workers and other physical labor. We can also attribute the term western to the wild west and early western America where the land was worked and so were the guns. It is kind of natural to put hard working and western together to come up with a pair of jeans that is classified as western.

    But what does that mean? And what does do these type of jeans actually look like? Well, as it so happens the mens jeans are a little bit baggy. This could be so that they are comfortable when they do work. Womens jeans are a little bit different to the male counterparts, they happen to be tight. It could be so that the jeans do not get in the way when they try to get onto a horse. Or it could be because they would not be doing such physical labor as the men. They might but not necessarily in jeans.

    When it comes to seeing western jeans we should go to some source that is more obvious than the internet. We could have a look at country and western musicians. Having a look there gives us the same results. Baggy looking jeans on the men, but so baggy that they look like rappers, and tight jeans on women. Seems this is the trend for almost any style and type of jeans available on the market these days. There are some variations though when it comes to wash and color as is the case with every other genre of jeans, if we could call it that.

    As we can see from this article, western jeans are really no different from any other type of jeans. There are just so many available to us now that it is very difficult to differentiate and name them anything specific. We see men wearing loose fitting and women wearing tight, mostly. And there is always so many colors for every style available to us as well.
